Digital VIS/NIR Imaging
The BOSS-V is a true day/night electro-optical viewer that provides multiple
capabilities in a single package. The CMOS-based sensor images across visible and infrared spectrum bands (400-1100 nm) to enhance situational awareness and security in low-light conditions. The BOSS-V can capture snapshots and also be used as a live video camera.
The BOSS-V also integrates with a number of facial recognition systems. Capture low-light images with the BOSS-V. Submit the image as a Job in the facial recognition software on an iPad or iPhone and instantly receive positive hits against the database watchlist. All of this can be done in extremely low light conditions.
Comparable in size to PVS-14 night vision monocular, the BOSS-V can be used as a head/ helmet mounted goggle, handheld/ tripod mounted viewer/ camera, and individual weapon sight. The quick detach mounting system enables rapid transition from each configuration to the others as needed during operations.
